Football club Ajax losses mount
Amsterdam football club Ajax made a loss of €22.8m in the 2009/10 season, well up on the previous season’s loss of €3.4m, the club said in a statement on Thursday.
Ajax is the only stock exchange-listed football club in the Netherlands.
The club expects a better financial performance this year, due to transfer fees and the team’s qualification for the Champions League.
