Feyenoord sticks with coach Mario Been despite 10-0 defeat

Rotterdam football club Feyenoord is sticking with coach Mario Been despite the team’s 10-0 thrashing by PSV Eindhoven at the weekend.

‘There is no reason whatsoever to change our (coaching) staff,’ technical director Leo Beenhakker told a news conference on Monday, adding that he was speaking on behalf of the entire leadership.
Been took the Feyenoord job in summer 2009.
Feyenoord now stands 15th in the 18-team premier division with just two wins in 10 matches. The Rotterdammers take on Venlo (17th in the league) on Wednesday.
