Cleaning products boss is the Netherlands’ biggest philanthropist
Bart Becht, the Dutch CEO of British firm Reckitt Benckiser, is the Netherlands’ most generous philanthropist, according to the new issue of Miljonair magazine.
Becht has put €130m into his charitable trust this year, the magazine says.
Second on the list is the Van Vliet family with €14.9m in donations. Last year’s champion, Pieter Geelen, founder of TomTom is third, on €10m.
Editor Onno Aerden says an increasing number of the wealthy Dutch are open about their charitable donations.
