Utrecht had lost the first away leg 2-0.
PSV Eindhoven were equally emphatic, recovering from FC Sibir Novosibirsk’s late 1-0 win in Russia to triumph 5-1 on aggregate.
But Rotterdam side Feyenoord lost 2-0 away to KAA Gent, overturning the side’s 1-0 win in the first leg.
Alkmaar’s AZ lost 2-1 to Aktobe but goes through on aggregate after last week’s 2-0 home win against the Kazakhstan side.
Five Dutch clubs will now take part in European competition this season: Twente and Ajax are both in the Champions League.
