Belgian investment group Gimv moves into the Netherlands
Belgium’s biggest investment group Gimv is planning to invest millions of euros in the Netherlands over the next few years, the Financieele Dagblad reports on Tuesday.
‘We have big ambitions,’ director Ivo Vincente said in an interview with the paper. Over the next 12 months, the fund plans to make three investments, boosting that to between 10 and 15 over time.
Gimv is focusing on companies valued at between €25m and €150m. Talks are already under way with a family owned industrial firm.
In total, the group has a war chest of €850m, the paper said
