Van Lanschot and NIBC also undergo stress test
Small Dutch banks Van Lanschot and NIBC have also undergone the EU banking stress test to check their resistance to a new recession, the Financieele Dagblad reports on Friday.
ABN Amro/Fortis, ING, Rabobank and SNS Reaal are among the 91 European banks required to take part in the test.
Van Lanschot would not say who had taken the initiative to include it in the process, the paper said. But NIBC said the request had come from its side.
The results of the big four banks’ tests will be published at 1800 hours this evening. NIBC and Van Lanschot will make their situation public on Monday.
