Orange bunting is drapped across the front of every cafe, the Albert Heijn supermarket group has run out of its furry mascots, and orange clothing is everywhere: tonight the Netherlands takes on Uruguay in the World Cup semi finals.

With the game kicking off at 20.30, early rush hour jams are not expected on Tuesday, and the cooler weather has led to a more relaxed atmosphere.
Nevertheless, 400 Dutch football fans have paid some €2,000 for a last-minute trip to South Africa to watch the match.
Mini-break
The mini-break, an 11-hour flight, a day in Cape Town, a football match and an 11 hour flight back home, was sold out almost immediately when Oranje beat Brazil on Friday.
‘I’ve spent nearly all my savings, but we are going to enjoy it,’ one supporter told Nos tv. ‘If you are a real fan, you’ve got the money,’ said another. ‘This is the first time in a long time we have a chance of winning the title. I really feel it could happen.’
Some 2,500 Dutch fans are expected to attend tonight’s game, as are thousands of Dutch people who live in South Africa.
Fit
Dutch coach Bert van Marwijk told a news conference on Monday evening all his players were fit enough to play.
The Telegraaf warns that the biggest danger to the Netherlands is underestimating its opponent. Uruguay is without star Ajax player Luis Suarez and Nicolas Lodeiro, who is injured.
