School tests group Cito has held talks with representatives of orthodox Protestant schools about bad language and ‘sensitive issues’ in some of its primary school exams, news agency ANP reports.


One audio item in this year’s tests featured bad language from a popular radio dj, which gave rise to a number of complaints.
But the religious schools are also concerned about inappropriate behaviour on a Sunday, such as taking part in sports or visiting a circus, a Cito spokesman told ANP.
