One of the two pelicans still at large after escaping from the Beekse Bergen safari park during a flying display on Saturday has been spotted on the roof of a house in IJmuiden, news agency ANP reports.


The bird has been identified as Blauwerick because of his blue ring. Three birds made off during the display. Roderick has since returned to his cage and there has been no sign of Groenerick.
