Internet bank Binck profits from financial unease

Internet bank Binckbank booked net profit of €13m in the second quarter, up 43% on a year ago. Turnover rose 19% to over €49m.


The number of transactions was also up at 2.5 million, generating €35m in provisions, the bank said in a statement.
Binckbank said it would not issue any full year forecast because of its dependence on the financial markets and investor sentiment.
