Bus driver refuses women in full face veil
A bus driver has refused admission to a 19-year-old woman because she was wearing a full-faced veil or niqab, the Telegraaf reports on Thursday.
Even though she had a ticket, the driver refused to allow her onto the bus because of her ‘extreme clothing’, the young woman says in the Brabants Dagblad.
Bus company Connexxion has since apologised for the incident.
