Three Dutch soldiers have been injured by a roadside bomb while on patrol in the southern Afghan region of Uruzgan, the defence ministry said.

The three are being treated in the field hospital at Kamp Holland where their condition is said to be stable.
The Netherlands will begin withdrawing its troops from Afghanistan in August.
