Joran van der Sloot has confessed to killing 21-year-old Peruvian Stephany Flores Ramirez after she began looking at files on his laptop, CNN reports.

The broadcaster says Van der Sloot, 22 could be formally charged with the killing on Tuesday, quoting Peruvian government authorities.
According to local media reports, Van der Sloot was angry with Ramirez after she opened his lap top and began looking at files. He broke her neck in the ensuing row.
While looking through the lap top, Ramirez realised Van der Sloot was involved in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, the American student who disappeared on Aruba five years ago, the Telegraaf said.
