The Financieele Dagblad has used the results of this and the last election campaign’s opinion polls to come up with its own ‘poll of polls‘ which the paper hopes is a more accurate reflection of voter plans.

The FD poll puts the VVD Liberals on 34 seats, Labour on 28 and the CDA on 27, while the anti-Islam PVV are on 22.
The paper looked at the opinion polls in previous campaigns and compared them to the actual results to come up with its own estimates. In particular, CDA and PVV support tends to be under-estimated in the polls, the paper’s experts say.
