Secondary school final exams begin
School final exams for some 204,000 secondary school pupils begin on Monday and will run until the end of the month.
In total, 108,000 pupils are taking vocational training exams (vmbo), 57,000 pre college tests (havo) and 40,000 pre-university exams (vwo).
School leaving certificate grades in the Netherlands are a combination of central exams results, school exams and course work.
