More than half of health service workers are considering changing jobs and 63% think the standard of care is set to get worse in the next four years, according to research carried out among 4,144 people by health insurer Menzis.


Poor pay, the pressure of work and too much bureaucracy are the main reasons cited by health service workers for wanting to quit their jobs, the Telegraaf reports on Tuesday.
In total, some 1.1 million people are employed in the healthcare sector.
