Accor wants to double Dutch hotel total

French hotel chain Accor wants to double its Dutch hotel total from 37 to 74 over the next five years, the Financieele Dagblad reports on Friday.

‘We want a better spread in the Netherlands, where we are now concentrated in the Randstad (the central urban belt) Accor Nederland director Caro van Eekelen told the paper.
The expansion will be a mixture of new build and takeovers.
The Dutch operations are one of the most profitable in the Accor group, which operates in 90 countries, Van Eekelen said. Some 60% of customers are business travellers.
