Exports rose 13% in February, boosting trade surplus
Dutch exports rose 13% in value in February, compared with the year earlier period, while imports were up 9%, the national statistics office CBS said on Tuesday.
The increase in export value took the trade surplus to €4bn, up €1.3bn on a year ago.
In volume terms, exports were up 11%, the third month of positive growth in a row. In December, export volumes rose 2% and in January 8%.
