Labour councillors in the Hague are working towards forming a new executive with the two Liberal parties VVD and D66 and the left-wing greens GroenLinks, the Telegraaf reports on Friday.

Despite losing five seats, Labour remains the biggest party in the Hague, where Geert Wilders’ anti-Islam party PVV was second.
Campaign leader Jeltje van Nieuwenhoven told reporters that ‘based on party programmes, it will be very difficult to work with the PVV’.
Before the election, Wilders said a ban on headscarves in public buildings would be central to his party’s demands.
