Feyenoord puts Twente out of Dutch cup
Rotterdam club Feyenoord has put premier league leaders FC Twente out of the Dutch cup with a 2-1 victory in the first semi final of the event.
Subsitute Roy Makaay gave Feyenoord victory with a goal in the 84th minute.
The defeat means Twente can now focus fully on the league, where it is being chased by Amsterdam side Ajax.
Ajax take on Go Ahead Eagles, a first division side from Deventer, on Thursday night in the second semi final.
