A check-out girl who worked in a supermarket in Spijkenisse, Rotterdam has been given 40 hours community service in a juvenile court for giving away goods worth €50,000, the Telegraaf reports on Wednesday.
The paper says the girl was paid €50 for every full supermarket trolley she allowed to leave the store without being put through the check-out. The girl used the trick for five months, giving away computer apparatus and household goods as well as food, before she was discovered.
