Less trade for Rotterdam port
The volume of cargo handled by Rotterdam port fell 13.4% in the first six months this year, compared with the year-earlier period, the port authorities said on Friday.
Net profit fell by €8m to €77m, due to increased income from land sales.
The port authority said it expected a similar picture in the second half.
Rotterdam is one of the biggest ports in the world.
