Bank robber hands himself in

A 24-year-old man who took part in an armed bank robbery earlier this year has handed himself in to Amsterdam police, reports the Volkskrant on Monday.

The man said he was sorry for what he had done and said four others were involved in the raid on a bank in the new residential area of IJburg in the north of Amsterdam in April.
Police have now arrested three other men and a woman all between the ages of 19 and 24 in connection with the crime, the paper says.
The robbers used a gun to threaten two bank employees and escaped with a large sum of Money, according to the Volkskrant.
