Aruba PM protests over name-calling

The prime minister of the Caribbean island of Aruba has made a formal complaint to the Dutch parliament about name-calling by MPs.

Socialist Party MP Ronald van Raak has described Aruban prime minister Nelson Oduber as ‘an untrustworthy manager’ while Hero Brinkman of the anti-immigration party PVV says he is ‘one of the biggest crooks on the island’.
The home affairs ministry is currently preparing an investigation into corruption on Aruba, which is an autonomous region of the Netherlands, but Oduber has refused to cooperate, news agency ANP says.
