Philips stops making tvs in Belgium
Philips is stop the manufacture of flatscreen tvs in Belgium and shift it to Hungary and the Czech Republic, Nos tv reported on Thursday.
Some 200 of the 475 jobs at the Brugge plant will go. In the 1990s, the factory had a workforce of 3,000 and was the biggest Philips tv production site in the world, Nos said.
