Netherlands third in Economist IT ranking
The Netherlands has gone up from seventh to third place in the latest E-readiness ranking by the Economist Intelligence Unit and IBM.
E-Readiness is defined as the ability to use information and communication technologies (ICT) to develop the economy and bolster welfare.
News agency ANP reports that the Netherlands and Switzerland are in joint first place in terms of technological infrastructure and second in terms of the legal aspects of ICT usage.
