Euro MPs want milk on the menu

Two Dutch members of the European parliament have made a formal request for milk to be included in on the menu at parliament buildings in Brussels and Strasbourg, reports news agency ANP.

While MEPs from southern European countries like a proper lunch, ‘there are also people who want to enjoy a sandwich and glass of milk or buttermilk, but they can’t,’ Wim van de Camp was reported as saying.
‘Parliament wants more attention for healthy eating and should translate these words into action,’ the Christian Democrat said.
