Aegon halts British activities
Insurance company Aegon has stopped offering ‘group risk products’ in Britain with immediate effect, the Financieele Dagblad reports.
The move will produce savings of €55m, the paper says. ‘Group risk products’ consist of life insurance and invalidity coverage for corporate customers.
Aegon said the market was mature and dominated by a few big players. It will remain active on the British pension and individual insurance markets.
