Some 54% of the Dutch think there should be more restrictions on workers from other EU countries arriving in the Netherlands, even if that leads to higher prices, according to an online poll by 21minuten.nl.

And 49% disagree with the statement that other EU citizens bring with them more advantages than disadvantages, the poll, quoted in the NRC, shows.
Some 300,000 citizens of other EU countries live in the Netherlands, according to figures from the national statistics office CBS.
People from Poland have only been recently allowed to get a job in the Netherland without a permit. Romanians and Bulgarians need a work permit to come to the country.
