Océ to cut a further 800 jobs

Copier and printer maker Océ is to cut a further 800 jobs as part of an acceleration of its cost reduction programme, the company said in a statement.

The aim of the extra job losses is to reduce costs by €64m over this year and 2010.
Océ said the job losses would affect operating companies and supply centres across the globe. The job losses mean Océ will have reduced its workforce by 8% or 2,050 full time jobs between 2008 and 2010.
