Four dead in house in Zwijndrecht (update)

Four people have been found dead in a house in Zwijndrecht south of Rotterdam, news agency ANP said on Monday.

The identity of the dead has not been formally established but neighbours say the house was lived in by a woman and two children, aged 16 and 17. The woman divorced her husband 18 months ago, the neighbour told ANP.
The Telegraaf says that the man in the house was alive when police broke in but died despite attempts to revive him. A dead dog was also found in the house, the paper says.
The house, part of a block of four, has been sealed off.
There were reports later on on Monday that the police were looking into a possible connection between the Zwijndrecht deaths and the body of a woman found in Bavel near Breda on Monday morning.
