Demand for temporary staff slides
The economic downturn has led to sharply reduced demand for temporary staff, the national statistics office CBS said on Friday.
Over the first three months of the year, the number of hours worked by temps fell 6% compared with the final quarter of 2008. Year on year the decline is 13%.
