Public broadcasting company Nos has retained the right to broadcast Champions League football matches for the next three years, the Telegraaf reports on Friday.
Sources told the paper Nos is to pay a ‘fraction’ of the broadcast fees charged in previous years – €10m per season compared with €30m per season over the last years.
The sources said that RTL Nederland had also bid for the competition, but that SBS had decided against it. AZ and FC Twente are the Dutch representatives in next season’s competition.
