Belgian writer wins Libris prize
This year’s Libris literature prize has been won by Belgian writer Dimitri Verhulst for his book Godverdomse dagen op een godverdomse bol which loosely translates as goddamn days on a goddamn planet.
Verhulst wins €50,000 for his book, a history of humankind in 188 pages. Charlotte Mutsaert had been favourite.
