Two in three bike thefts not reported
Two out of three people whose bikes are stolen do not report the theft to the police, according to new figures published by the national statistics office CBS.
One in 20 people had a bike stolen last year, the CBS says. Only 25% of people living in densely populated areas reported their bike stolen, compared with 37% of those in rural areas.
