Somalia kidnap victims freed

A Dutch nurse and Belgian doctor have been freed by their kidnappers in Somalia, the Volkskrant reports, quoting Somali tribal leaders.


The two, who worked for the medical charity MSF, were kidnapped over a week ago near the border with Ethiopia.
The kidnappers had demanded $4m ransom, but the Volkskrant says no money was handed over.
