Heerenveen beats Volendam to cup final
Friesland football club Heerenveen will take on FC Twente in the final of the Dutch Cup on May 17 after beating Volendam 2-0 on Wednesday night.
It is the third time Heerenveen has made the final. It lost 6-2 to Ajax in 1993 and 4-2 to Roda JC in 1997.
