Companies which are waiting on the government to pay their bills for too long have been urged to register the problem with the home affairs ministry.

Home affairs minister Guusje ter Horst told tv programme EenVandaag that entrepreneurs should let her know if bills are not being paid.
The official target is to pay all bills within 30 days, but according to debt agency Intrum Justitia, government departments take an average of 46 days to pay.
