Cover boy banned from magazine party

TV presenter Arie Boomsma, who is on the front cover of Linda de Mol’s new gay men’s magazine l’homo, was not allowed to attend Monday night’s launch party by his employer, the staunchly Christian broadcasting company EO.

Boomsma was suspended from appearing on tv for three months because he posed for De Mol wearing a swimming costume.
‘God loves gays as much as heterosexuals and that is why I worked on the project,’ Boomsma says in the magazine.
De Mol said at the launch she was very grateful to the EO for all the publicity. ‘I could not have paid for it,’ she said.
