Consumers have little confidence in banks
Dutch consumers have little confidence in banks and give their own bank an average score of 4.9 out of 10, according to a poll of over 1,000 adults for market research group Synovate.
Of all the Netherlands’ big banks, only Rabobank passes the test, with a score of 7.1%, news agency ANP says.
Only 17% say they have more faith in a bank which appoints a known person as CEO. And most people think banks should stop advertising their services.
Nevertheless, only 15% of people are considering switching to a different bank, the survey shows.
