Armed forces chief ‘backs’ JSF

The chief of the armed forces, commander Peter van Uhm, thinks the army should buy the JSF fighter jet to replace its ageing F16s, according to media reports on Monday.

Van Uhm thinks the aircraft, which is still in development, offers the most options for the lowest price, Nos tv reports.
MPs are due to decide this month whether to buy two test JSFs for a series of extensive trials.
