Unilever boss paid €1.7m to work in
New Unilever CEO Paul Polman earned €1.7m during the three-month period he was being shown the ropes, the Telegraaf said on Monday, quoting Unilever’s annual report.
Polman officially took over from Patrick Cescau on January 1 but was on the payroll from October 2008.
Cescau left without a golden handshake or other pay-off, the paper said.
