Some 800 Holland Scotland tickets blocked
The Dutch football association KNVB has blocked 800 illegal tickets for Saturday’s World Cup qualifying match between Holland and Scotland.
The tickets have been sold-on illegally via ticket agencies such as M&M Events, Budgetticket, 4alltickets and online auctions like marktplaats.nl.
‘This practise of selling-on tickets for sometimes enormous prices means that some fans can no longer get them. This is a drastic measure but we cannot tolerate [the situation] any longer,’ KNVB director Bert van Oostvee says on the association’s website.
