Schiphol crash: preliminary report today

The first findings of the investigation into last week’s Turkish Airlines crash close to Schiphol airport will be made public later today, reports the Telegraaf.

The paper says accident investigators will publish a preliminary report in The Hague this afternoon.
Nine people – five Turks and four Americans – were killed when the Boeing 737 ploughed into a muddy field close to the airport last Wednesday.
Several dozen people are still in hospital, one is said to be in a critical condition. Some eye-witnesses said the plane appeared to drop like a stone.
