Renate Groenewold skates to gold
Renate Groenewold became the first female Dutch ice skater to win a gold medal in the 3,000 metres event when she won the world speed skating championships in Vancouver on Thursday.
Groenewold finished ahead of the Czech Martina Sablikova and the Canadian Kristina Groves with a time of 4.05.43 minutes.
