Raise top tax rate to 60%, says union
People earning more than the prime minister should pay a top tax rate of 60%, the leader of the CNV trade union federation told a radio programme on Monday.
The current top tax rate is 52%, payable on earnings over €54,776. But René Paas says a new rate of 60% should be brought in for people earning more than €176,000.
