Nedcar, unions talk about job cuts
Unions and employers at the Nedcar factory in Born are meeting on Thursday to discuss plans to end the jobs of 200 people on annual contracts, the Financieele Dagblad reports.
The paper says those affected are former Nedcar workers who were brought back for the production of the Mitsubishi Outlander.
But sales of the Outlander and Mitsubishi Colt have slumped ‘dramatically’, union official Henk van Rees tells the paper.
