Mobile internet licences up for grabs

The government is to auction off three new mobile internet licences in the first quarter of 2010, junior economic affairs minister Frank Heemskerk has announced.


Currently KPN, T-Mobile and Vodafone have mobile internet licences.
Cable company Ziggo said in Saturday’s Volkskrant that it would be bidding for a frequency. UPC and Tele2 are also expected to take part, the paper said.
