Men take speed skating gold, women silver

The Dutch men’s team took the gold medal at the world speed skating championships in Vancouver on Sunday.

Sven Kramer, Carl Verheijen and Wouter Olde Heuvel booked a convincing victory over Sweden and the US.
The Dutch women’s team was second behind Canada to take the silver.
Kramer also took gold in the 5,000 meters and 10,000 meters individual titles. Ireen Wüst silver in the women’s 1,500 meters event.
