Law firm considers shorter working week

Norton Rose in Amsterdam is the first law firm in the Netherlands to consider a shorter working week for its 60 employees, reports the Financieele Dagblad on Tuesday.


Managing partner Ep Hannema told the paper that the agreement would be based on a voluntary basis.
Recently the Amsterdam office of one of the world’s largest law firms, Allen & Overy, announced 30 job losses and a salary freeze, the paper reports.
